“When you are a designer, what’s important is to be aware of things. Everything should lead to an idea, a line to follow, a movement.” Hubert de Givenchy said this on camera at eighty-nine, in the 2015 documentary A Life in Haute Couture — the man who dressed Audrey Hepburn for four decades describing his whole method as chronic attention. Nothing was idle to him; everything he noticed fed a line to follow. Originality, in his account, is mostly a matter of paying closer attention than everyone else, until the world hands you the idea.
**AS Colour 5082 “Faded Bone” — Oversized Tee (Cream finish).** 100% carded cotton, heavyweight 240 gsm, garment-dyed — each tee fades a little differently, so no two are identical. Oversized, boxy relaxed fit, dropped shoulders, wide twin-stitched ribbed neck, side-seamed, pre-shrunk (size down for a less roomy look). Care: machine wash cold inside-out with like colors, do NOT bleach, do NOT tumble dry (line dry in the shade to protect the garment dye), cool iron inside-out (never iron the print).
