It was a dialogue.” The title of her 2014 memoir is the whole thesis: The Woman I Wanted to Be. It began the day she agreed to marry Prince Egon von Fürstenberg, when she resolved to have a career of her own — “someone of my own,” she wrote, “not just a plain little girl who married beyond her deserts.” A year later she was designing dresses; within a few more the wrap dress had made the name Fürstenberg mean her rather than him. She became someone by making the thing only she would make.
**AS Colour 5082 “Faded Bone” — Oversized Tee (Cream finish).** 100% carded cotton, heavyweight 240 gsm, garment-dyed — each tee fades a little differently, so no two are identical. Oversized, boxy relaxed fit, dropped shoulders, wide twin-stitched ribbed neck, side-seamed, pre-shrunk (size down for a less roomy look). Care: machine wash cold inside-out with like colors, do NOT bleach, do NOT tumble dry (line dry in the shade to protect the garment dye), cool iron inside-out (never iron the print).
