It’s difficult to see in the photo, but the figure in this piece is a transparency mounted below glass. The face is a shell cabochon I carved attached above the surface of the glass. The numbered keys from an adding machine are a variation I tried on the nails of minkisi sculptures. There are also small nails pounded into the figure below the glass.
