Transmigration was the one of the first of the 2-D Nkisi & is still probably my favorite. The central figure is a Butoh dancer. The eye or sun above her is a close-up of a flower and above that are many arms from a Hindu statue. The figure to the left is made of found scrap steel. A triangular piece of glass covers the dancers crotch, flanked by nails and with the burnt jawbone of a fish at the top edge.
